Software Delivery Experience is critical for highly regulated institutions due to high stakes in security, regulatory compliance and customer trust. Efficient software delivery helps maintain competitive advantage by enabling institutions to quickly adapt to innovations while adhering to strict regulatory standards and minimizing operational risks. In this talk, Ragha Vema (Principal Engineer - Delivery Experience) and Brittany Istenes (Open Source Strategist) from Fannie Mae would like to talk about the inception of the open source program office at Fannie Mae and the role of open source program office to improve Software Delivery by providing avenues to improve collaboration, adoption of open source practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement through the Innersource initiative. We will focus on some of the key projects in this regard that were implemented through the innersource initiative, showcasing the approach, outcomes, insights gained, and journey ahead.
